Description: Bronze plaque bearing the logo of the P.E.I. Museum and Heritage Foundation. Measures 11" in diameter, and 5/8" deep. Shows signs of usage. Acquired at public auction in Kensington, P.E.I., on November 26th, 2016.
Strathgartney Homestead National Historic Site of Canada is a 32-acre (12.9 ha) remnant of the 500-acre (202.3 ha) estate of Robert Bruce Stewart, a nineteenth-century landowner. It contains the Stewart house, a carriage house and a collection of seven farm outbuildings from the Stewart period set in an agricultural landscape. Strathgartney Homestead was designated a national historic site in 1996.
