The book was issued to celebrate the 50th Anniversary for Montague’s Garden Of The Gulf Museum in 2008. The volume contains a huge quantity of photo-style illustrations from the late 19th-century through to the mid-20th-century. Barbara Boys MacCormac writes that the “museum has been home to a large collection of photos for many years.
