Biography

Therese was born on August 20, 1921 in Matapedia, Quebec. Her life was a long and passionate adventure. In her early fifties, she took on the challenge of new academic studies and earned both a B.Sc. and a Masters degree in Bioengineering. She travelled extensively, climbing volcanoes and pyramids, swimming with sharks and patting a wild leopard, among other exciting exploits. Her passions were nurturing the people she loved, the beauty of nature and animals, and expressing those passions through her art.

Quotations

“My work tries to capture aspects of my world-overview. I particularly love trees, their shapes, their character, their revelations of our physical world. Even when not present in one of my works, to me their absence is heard. They always line the path to where I want to go. “
