Corinne Kenney is a summer resident of Prince Edward Island. She divides the remainder of the year between Aiken, South Carolina, and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Although an American citizen, Corinne has Canadian roots. Her father was from Trois-Rivières, Québec. Corinne is a graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University (1962). Following retirement from veterinary medicine, she has dedicated most of her time to painting. Among her artistic influences are the painters Rosa Bonheur and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida, and watercolourists Ron Lent and Bill Ternes.
