Kier Kenny describes himself as a war veteran, artist, business operator and cultural activist. He was born in 1948 in New York. At the age of 20, he was drafted and did two tours of duty during the Vietnam War: one in 1969 and one in 1970. Later, he moved to Prince Edward Island where he studied business at the University of Prince Edward Island, operated The Kier Gallery in Charlottetown, and served as Executive Director of the Souris Show Hall Foundation in Souris, P.E.I. He now lives in Stratford.
